Ines Wein
Professional Musician


Ines Wein was born in Eichstätt/Germany. She studied viola, chamber music and musicology at the Music University of Munich and completed her studies with the Masterclass Diploma. Additionally she studied baroque viola and viola dŽamore at the Institute for Historical Perfomance Practice in Munich.
Chamber music and Early Music are the major interests and she performed with the Amira-Quartett and many other ensebmles widely in Europe.
Ines Wein occupies herself intensively with the viola d'amore since 2005. She received important impulses for it from Marianne Rônez. Ines Wein lets the viola d'amore speak regularly at chamber music and solo concertes and enthralls the audience.
Ines Wein is a member of the Viola d'amore Society of America since 2008. She lives currently in Doha/Qatar and is violist with the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra, as well as founding member of the Baroque Ensembles Soha.
