Viola d'amore interests Became fascinated with the viola d'amore at age 12 looking through my grandfathers books of various instruments in museums. I then helped my grandfather make a viola d'amore, began looking up music for it and started trying to learn how to play it.
Other interests Cycling, art gallery shows and openings and the various activities of my four kids.

I play on an instrument I built in 1999.
Another viola d'amore made in 2009 is owned by society member Daniel Geiger.

Exhibits I have exhibited in the Berkeley Festival's exhibition and won an award of excellence in the 2000 California State Fair art competition with my viola d'amore.
